PATH Transit successfully tendered in 1996 to operate a large portion of the urban bus transport for the WA State Government and now manages over 320 buses in the northern Perth metropolitan area from five strategically positioned depots, employing over 600 local people as bus drivers, maintenance personnel and in administrative and clerical functions.

Our company is 100% Australian owned and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Transit Enterprises. We are committed to Perth and WA – we employ locally, source the majority of our inputs locally and invest locally.

Geographically the area of operation is bordered by the Swan River in the South, Indian Ocean in the West, Two Rocks in the North and Beechboro in the East. Every year PATH Transit operates over 1 million service trips covering around 20 million kilometres and carrying 20 million passengers.

PATH Transit is characterised by its forward thinking and its innovative approach to public transport. Since September 1996 we have achieved many milestones and introduced new ideas and services consistently. To continue the improvement of our service provision, we have a team of dedicated transport professionals who in consultation with the public and with the aid of the latest technology, are striving to provide further enhancements to Perth’s public transport system.
